The shower was heavenly, and the place was clean, cozy, and spacious enough. It’s right in central Karlstad, and although the train tracks are nearby, you can’t hear them. There are only four TV channels, and the internet isn’t good if you need a reliable connection. We could also smell odors coming from other apartments. Still, I’d highly recommend it.

We stayed for a weekend and didn’t hear any noise from outside, even though the apartment is right by the main street in the town center. It was surprisingly spacious, calm, and clean for the price, with a very comfortable sofa and room even for a small stroller. There’s a big freezer and good blackout curtains, though no blinds. The TV swivels all the way around, but there are only four channels. I don’t know if it has an HDMI connection, and it isn’t a smart TV. There was everything we needed, and it’s a real hidden gem.

The city center location is excellent, with Stora Torget and Miticity mall about a two-minute walk away and a bus stop right next door for the university and other directions. The apartments are fully independent, with a private kitchen, large fridge, microwave, coffee machine, oven, and electric kettle. There are also two shared rooms with a washing machine, iron, and dryer. It’s all available at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

A comfortable place for a longer hotel stay. It can feel like a home away from home.
