Home Hotel Drott

The rooms were large and clean, the food was incredibly good, and the prices were very reasonable. Best hotel I've stayed in by far. Absolutely recommend it!

There wasn't much food choice, even though I'd written about allergies in the booking. The description for the dinner of the day was only in the local language. The room looked good, but the TV wasn't smart, and its universal remote didn't work very well.

The staff deserve top marks. They're professional, attentive, personable, and put real effort into looking after guests. The hotel looks dated from outside, and the finishes aren't especially luxurious, but the comfort is excellent. We visited in Summer and had a spacious, airconditioned room. It was fresh and clean, with clean sheets, a nice shower, and a comfortable bed. Dinner was included, with a different menu each evening. We found the food fresh, tasty, good quality, and healthy. Breakfast was very good too, with freshly baked breads and a continental spread. Even with lots of guests, the place stayed calm and relaxing. Staff kept the food topped up quickly and cleared and cleaned tables attentively. Highly recommended.

The location made getting around easy, with shops close by, and the receptionist was really kind and helpful. The food was tasty too. Sadly, our room hadn't been cleaned properly. There was a lot of hair on the bathroom floor, so I cleaned it before taking a shower. I didn't think to tell reception at the time, but I'd recommend mentioning it straight away. They probably could've sorted it out. Apart from that, it was a nice stay.
