There’s plenty of outdoor seating, and the hammocks are lovely for an afternoon nap. You can also use the toilets and grill, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Mini golf, beach volleyball and football give you ways to stay active, though mini golf is a little steep at 40 SEK per person. The food was decent too.

The beach was the letdown: it’s covered in sharp rocks and seaweed, with loads of biting insects. Camping itself was very cheap, and there’s a shared fridge and freezer, which I haven’t seen at other places. It’s a quiet, slightly quirky spot tucked away from the busier areas. The facilities all worked, and you don’t have to deal with annoying access cards. The owners seem to be some kind of Christians, so there are fewer party types around. I liked that, since I’d rather get a good night’s sleep than have a rowdy time.
