The spa had several saunas and both an indoor and outdoor jacuzzi, and the restaurant food was delicious. Our spacious superior room was clean, and the hotel felt wonderfully quiet, with hardly anyone around. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, including pancakes, jam donuts, meatballs and yoghurts with different toppings. Half-board was good value, parking was free with lots of space, and the skiing area was extremely close. We’ll definitely come back.

Klövsjö and this hotel turned out to be a lovely summer find. It’s a ski resort, but still well worth a visit in summer if you’re in Jämtland or heading toward Åre. We stayed in a clean, tidy two-storey apartment with four bedrooms that felt almost new. No complaints from us, and we’d happily return.

The apartments were comfortable and well furnished, with room for bigger families or a group of friends. It’s less hectic here than in nearby Vemdalen, which made our stay much more pleasant and relaxed. With beautiful views, good food and skiing right outside, it was a cozy spot for a family weekend.

The staff were nice, and I liked being able to borrow sports gear, like a SUP board, to use on the nearby lake. Breakfast was really good and had lots of options. Our July room was comfortable, with a good double bed, a spacious bathroom and a TV with many channels. Dinner tasted good too, though the plate held perhaps too much food and it was a bit salty. I’d recommend the hotel.

After a long journey, this place gave us more than just a room. It felt peaceful and like a real holiday. We were there in summer and everything was open. The staff and rooms were great, too.
