Villa Fridhem Hotell - Mat - Möten

The breakfast was great, though I spotted a lovely strand of blonde hair among the sausages. The room was clean enough, if not as clean as it could have been, but it wasn't dodgy. The premises are beautiful, with tasteful interiors. It doesn't feel terribly overpriced, especially for Sweden, though the value could be better. Pets being allowed is a big plus.

The location and view are lovely, and the staff were kind. The food was good, too. The place could use renovation: paint is peeling from the windows, the stair carpets are dirty, and although the bathrooms are clean, they look very worn. The pool was moldy. For what you get, it feels a bit overpriced.

The gardens were beautiful, the indoor pool was amazing and just the right temperature, and there were games everywhere to enjoy. The staff were all wonderful. Our family took our first vacation with our new baby at Villa Fridhem, and they had our room and a baby crib ready at check-in. They'd even remembered the baby stool for dinner, without us having to ask. Five stars! We'll definitely be back.

The surroundings are beautiful, and the room was quiet. The bed was nice, the shower had strong pressure, Wi-Fi was free, and breakfast was good. Most of the staff were friendly. Lunch and dinner from the set menu were mostly okay, but some portions were quite small. We were served the same potatoes three times in a row, and the dishes had very few vegetables.
