Villa Långbers

This is a top place to stay during Vasaloppet race week, less than an hour by car from Mora. The suites were clean, the beds comfortable, and tea, coffee, and sauna were free, alongside an amazing breakfast. The nature here is something else, with a spectacular view of Siljan lake, pine trees, and fresh air. I just wish I could’ve stayed longer.

I tried lunch, dinner, and breakfast, and the food was tasty each time with a good range to choose from. There are snacks, coffee, and sweets available, and the bar offers plenty of whiskies along with different beers and wines. The hotel also has good spaces for lectures and conferences. Our room was well equipped, and the bed was really comfortable, though I missed having an outlet beside it. The views over the lake and surrounding area are outstanding, and the whole place feels peaceful and very clean. I recommend it.

We were there for a wedding in May, and the breakfast was the best part for me. The wedding meal was wonderful too. The setting and the view are incredible. The hotel itself is fairly basic, though it has a great gym for a place of its size. The bar selection is limited.

Tällberg feels like the right place in Dalarna to get a taste of Swedish culture, history, art, and service. There are eight hotels in this village, and they're all within walking distance of each other, or the hotel can pick you up. Take the train from Stockholm Arlana Airport and, three hours later, step off into a Swedish dream.
