Aspenäs Herrgård

It’s a very peaceful spot, with lovely nature around it. The rooms were clean, though they felt a little dated. Breakfast and dinner were okay.

Dragana was especially kind and helpful with our small child, and her warmth and professionalism really stood out. Everyone on staff was welcoming and attentive, which made our lunch feel special. The food was absolutely delicious too. We had such a lovely visit and will definitely return. I’d recommend this place to anyone after great food and caring service 😊

The rooms were clean and nice, in a building next to the main one. We were here for a work event over the weekend, and the walk by the lake was limited because the path got too muddy. The gym felt small and a bit depressing, although it had a nice range of equipment. The hand weights were scattered around the room. As a vegetarian, I had cauliflower and rice for lunch. It looked good, even though cauliflower isn’t my favorite. Dinner started with a lovely beetroot appetizer that I could have happily eaten more of. The main course was cauliflower and cabbage, unfortunately too much cauliflower for me after lunch, so I couldn’t finish it. Others had lamb, and even people who don’t usually like lamb said it was really good. Dessert was okay, I think it was panna cotta. Breakfast was acceptable, but the scrambled eggs and oatmeal needed a lot of salt to be edible.

A lovely place for a getaway right by the lake, with quiet surroundings and attentive staff. Breakfast had plenty of good options, and the rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. The bathroom could use an upgrade, though, and there was some mold around the shower. The room also wasn’t perfectly clean. Still, I’d recommend it.
