A great place to grab a bite and sleep in the carpark.

We stopped for lunch while driving through the area. The quaint-looking hotel was clean and orderly, with several dishes to pick from. We ordered raggmunk and vegetarian köttbullar, both quite decent and reasonably priced. Coffee came with the meal.

The view is worth enjoying over a coffee, but I'd avoid the Wienerschbänitzel. Mine came with roasted potatos, yet both the schnitzel and potatoes seemed limp and fried, nowhere near properly roasted. It was one of the worst meals of its kind I've had.

I was disappointed by my quick lunch here. The staff and ingredients are available, so I don't see why they can't offer their own hamburgers, freshly tossed salad, or freshly made coffee. The restaurant was mostly empty, and I think it would be different with better management. The fact that so few Lilla Edet residents choose to eat here says a lot.

The staff were nice, and I managed to wash most of it off. Still, I was close to giving four stars, but there was no toilet paper, even though I had gone out of my way for their famous toilet paper "Edet". The river is lovely!
