Grundéns Hotell

We had a spacious, modern, clean family room, and the hotel was clean and well managed. Breakfast is served in a cosy restaurant with a pleasant outdoor area for sunny mornings. The staff were very friendly. Thanks for having us, we'll be back.

Maggie was wonderful. When the storm was moving in over Grundsund, she picked us up in the rain, helped arrange pizza delivery since we didn't want to head out in the wind, and drove us back to our boat the next day. You can also borrow bicycles, which came in handy for a quick trip to the little ICA between showers and to pick up things we'd left on the boat. We'd stopped sailing and checked in for a night, and we're so glad we did. The hotel felt very fresh, with lovely new furniture and high-quality interior design. The welcome and service were the best, especially with the weather closing in. Having a large kitchen guests can use was a big plus. We really recommend this little gem.

There are lots of lovely places to sit and spend time, indoors and outside. Guests can use the kitchen, fridge, and freezer, which was a big plus, and there are bikes to borrow. The sea is nearby, and we easily walked down to it. We had a lovely two days and felt very welcome. The hotel is clean, well maintained, and nicely designed, with a warm atmosphere and kind staff. The hostess really cares about guests and makes you feel welcome. It's lovely and quiet, with comfortable beds and a simple breakfast that includes good brewed coffee. Nights were peaceful and cool. Recommended!
