I didn't feel welcome here. Apart from one kind woman at check-in, the staff we encountered didn't even say hello to me or the others in my group. My room also wasn't cleaned during our few nights there, despite asking reception and putting out the clean-room sign. It was very expensive for the service and experience, and nowhere near worth the price.

The view over the water is amazing, and the location is easy to reach, even by local bus. Everyone was welcoming and the service was great. A visit will convince you, and I'd recommend it to anyone coming to Lysekil Sweden.

Breakfast comes with a lovely view of the famous Gullmarsfjord, and there's a good mix of hot and cold food with plenty for everyone. The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet, with comfortable beds and doors that close silently. They also have a cold minibar now. Lysekil is lucky to have its first real Hotel.

On our family road trip through Sweden, Norway, and Denmark, this has been the best hotel so far. We have four in the family and had a big room, with really comfortable beds and great pillows. The hotel sits on the town square in a cute little town. Highly recommend.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast offered lots of fresh choices for everyone. We stayed one night in this recently refurbished hotel, right beside the town square. The room and decor felt modern but still comfortable and cute, and the beds had plenty of fluffy pillows. There's no coffee or hot water in the rooms, but both are available in the lobby. The on-site parking garage was reasonably priced.
