Quality Hotel View

Getting here by train is about as easy as it gets. At Hyllie, you come up from the platform and the hotel entrance is right there. I spent a night and a day in the conference area. The rooms were large, comfortable and really quiet. I can recommend this nice hotel.

We had a good start to our family trip here. The train made it very easy to get from CPH airport, and the hotel is right by the station. We could also get into Malmo easily by train, and had time to walk around. The shopping mall across the street was handy for food and groceries. The rooms were good, we slept well, and breakfast was great. The one downside was early check-in. They charge $13 per hour before 3PM. I understand the policy, but other hotels in Europe have let us in early so we could nap before going out. We decided not to pay, and ended up crashing too early that evening. In hindsight, we probably should have.

Even with the lobby crowded and the elevator wait feeling endless, the room and night were surprisingly quiet. It was late July and hotels were busy, but I heard no outside noise, doors slamming or kids running in the halls. Victor at reception was a huge help when I couldn’t figure out where to park during maintenance work, and it all worked out. The hotel has a car park across the road, with the train station right beside it. Rooms are clean, nice and modern, and the location is beautiful. I’d recommend staying here if you’re in the area and unsure where to go.

I come back for the convenience and the fact that the place is clean, quiet and works as expected. The staff are always super friendly. I don’t have breakfast myself, though the spread looks good, and they’re accommodating if you want to take something along instead of sitting down. My last stay was in an upgraded deluxe room. I’ve had the family room before, but I think this one would suit a family better. I’m taking a star off because the room I had last time didn’t have blackout curtains, and there weren’t extras like lotion, toothpaste or a shower cap. I like having those so I can save suitcase space and don’t need to run to a shop if I forget something. Also, if you need help, expect to go down to the desk. They don’t bring things to your room.
