Sky Hotel Apartments

The room was spacious and comfortable, and having an ironing stand was a useful little touch. Parking was another plus: the garage was large enough for our big car, so we didn’t have to squeeze into a tight basement space. The hotel itself was nice and easy to reach, and we had a pleasant four-night stay at Scandic Hotel. We didn’t know housekeeping had to be requested at reception, so the room wasn’t cleaned automatically. Once we asked, they sorted it out. It would’ve helped to know about the policy ahead of time.

The rooms could use a bit of an update, but this is a really nice hotel in central Malmö and the location is great. With more modern rooms, it’d be the best choice 👌🏼

Breakfast was good, though it stayed the same each day. A long-haired woman in the kitchen greeted us every morning, chatted with our daughter, and helped me with a coffee to go. The reception team were always welcoming too, offering us hot tea and our daughter juice. She also loved the free marshmallows at reception and the Kids Quiz on the lobby wall. We booked a Family Four Standard Kitchenette for our four-night family holiday. It was clean and tidy, with no strange smells in the room or hallways. The laundry was easy to use, and check-in and check-out both went smoothly. The thing we’ll remember most happened after checkout. A few hours after leaving, I realized I’d left my wedding ring in the room and called around 2 PM. The receptionist explained that lost items are kept in the Lost & Found locker for about three months, and said she’d alert the housekeeping manager. I called again the next morning and spoke with Jamal, who’d been unwell the day before but was now looking into it. I described the ring and where I’d last seen it, and less than ten minutes later he called to say he’d found it. We went back and a staff member returned it intact. We’re so grateful to the team for their honesty. It was a lovely stay, and we’ll definitely be back.

The rooms are a little old, but everything’s nice and works. They’re big, and there’s a small kitchen to warm up food.
