I came to the area to rest for a while after hiking Pilgrimsleden, and Håverud Hostel was just right for that. Loïc welcomed me warmly from the start and clearly cares about the people staying there. The rooms are simple, but you have several shared bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, a cozy lounge, and a washing machine. Sights and restaurants are nearby, with nature close at hand too. Thanks for everything 🙏🏼

The owner was so friendly and helpful, and Haverud is a quiet, peaceful place to stay. The accommodation is simple, clean, and affordable, with a well-equipped shared kitchen. Thanks, Loic!

It's a historic place in a charming old building that also contains a museum. The rooms are small, and the floors and beds creak, but the facilities are clean and good. Service was very friendly. Late check-in is easy, though you can't check out before 8 am.

Showers, toilets, and the kitchen were all clean, and the hostel also has a TV and lots of books that give it a cozy feel. For what you get, the price is really good. The owner is very kind and has run the hostel with a lot of dedication for 30 years. The staff were good too. One of the best hostels I've stayed in, and I'd recommend it to anyone.

The roads around here are a joy on a motorcycle. We always stay at this lovely hostel when visiting Håverud and the aqueduct, one of Sweden's most amazing buildings. You're right in the middle of things, which is quite a lot for such a small town: good restaurants, the drama at the lock, and a nice museum. The hostel itself is good, and the owner is very nice.
