Our rooms were ready when the four of us arrived in the evening. We had booked an accessible room for an electric wheelchair, and it worked well. We decided to switch to a different room so the assistant would have more space. The hotel had no problem with the change, and the new room was still of a good standard for people with special needs. Breakfast was served in pleasant, friendly surroundings. It was a typical Swedish breakfast, and we left happy and full. The staff were very friendly and customer focused. We can absolutely recommend this place.

The walls are paper-thin. I tried playing a game after 6 pm, and then a crazy Pole started banging on the walls so hard it felt like the whole house might collapse. You also have to share a shower and toilet, including with pensioners who had moved in.

They charged 1400 SEK for a room with no shower or toilet, and the treatment was unpleasant from the very start. My parents were thrown out on the slopes before 7 pm because the hosts thought my six-month-old daughter, whom they were babysitting overnight, was too loud when being put to bed. We also had to fight to get our money back. They said, “Now we've chosen the wrong place!” Yes, thank you!

We were five hikers from Stockholm staying at Salnö Gård from September 24-26, 2021. The whole setting was lovely, with welcoming people and cute sheep outside the window. We especially enjoyed the fantastic rooms, the warm floors, and the well-equipped kitchen.

The hostess behaved in a strange, old-fashioned, and unacceptable way. She also seems to think she can make a general judgment that all grandparents are unsuitable as babysitters.
