Nature Shelter Hotel

The forest and walking paths around the place are lovely, and the room itself was okay, just small and a bit hot. It had no air conditioning despite what Agoda advertised, and the bathroom had no ventilation. The restaurant was the real problem. The Indian food tasted worse than something from a shop, with hardly any flavor and none of the spice other reviewers mention. The curry had about four bites of chicken, and two mains plus a drink came to around 500 SEK. We still weren't full. Breakfast, served 7-9 rather than 7-10 as advertised in some places, was nothing special but edible. There's no shared kitchen. Sauna costs 95 SEK per person, there’s no steam room, and the gym smells bad. It all felt like they were trying to get money out of us. Service was okay, though some staff seemed indifferent and weren't especially friendly. Don't believe the fake reviews here.

The Holi celebration was full of color and good energy, and karaoke made the night even more fun. There were indoor activities for kids and adults, so everyone had something to do. At Nature Shelter Hotel - Åsljungagården, the owners and staff looked after us personally from the moment we arrived and made us feel at home. The rooms and shared spaces were clean and well kept. We had Indian food at lunch, dinner, and breakfast, and enjoyed how flavorful and authentic it was. For the price, the stay went beyond what we expected. We had a fantastic night here.

We found the surroundings really relaxing, and the rooms were clean with the basic amenities we needed. The freshly made Indian food was good, especially the Butter Chicken, which is a must try. Comfortable stay for an affordable price. We'll be back for sure.
