6/10
A quiet, scenic place, though you’ll need a car to get there. It’s a low-budget hostel, clean and tidy, with a private bathroom in our room, though not every room has one. The beds and pillows were average, and the place could use renovation. The main building was closed during our stay, so I can’t comment on it. Parties aren’t allowed and quiet is expected. A Christian foundation owns the place and sets the pace for everything. Good value overall.

The forest and lake surroundings are beautiful, with great opportunities for hiking and boating. This is a school and retreat center, with IKEA-furnished rooms and a shared kitchen and living room. My room was clean and well worth the price. I stayed for a week and plan to come back.
