Breakfast was reliably delicious, with a good selection to choose from, and the bar was nice in the evenings. It did close early, though, which was a little disappointing. I stayed for a couple of nights on a work trip. My room was somewhat small, but the bed was comfortable, and the fresh, clean linens helped me sleep well. The water in my room didn’t get very hot. The towels were clean, fresh, and soft. I didn’t like the smell from the carpet; it wasn’t overpowering, but it lingered.

The rooms were clean and had everything we needed, and we left happier than we’ve felt in a long time. The staff made the weekend special, especially the woman at the bar and the young blonde woman at the spa. They were so kind and the service was wonderful. There were only two hairdryers at the spa, and they barely worked. I ended up driving 180 km home with wet hair on departure day. The dark-haired woman working at the spa that Saturday evening was the only person in the hotel who wasn’t pleasant or friendly. Staff shouldn’t act that way.

The staff were lovely, the restaurant food was great, and the location is beautiful. But if you’re traveling with kids, spa access ends at 3.30 pm on Saturday and 1 pm (!) on Sunday. There’s no splash pool for children under 2 who wear diapers, and there weren’t any spa treatment slots when we arrived, at least not for us. The spa only provides shower gel, and the room amenities are very limited too, so bring your own toiletries. The hotel kitchen closes at 9 pm. We extended our stay, but found out the room hadn’t been booked. We did get a room in the end, but there was no baby cot.

There’s no realistic public transport or taxi option, so the 30-minute walk to the train station isn’t workable. The hotel also needs a full renovation. It’s dated, and the floor was disgustingly dirty.

Breakfast was a highlight, with lots of fresh choices from hot dishes and fruit to pastries and good coffee. The staff were friendly and efficient, and happy to help with recommendations or practical arrangements. Meeting rooms and reliable Wi-Fi were useful on our business trip. We spent a couple of days at Ronneby Brunn Hotel while working in Ronneby. The rooms were clean and well kept, the beds comfortable, and it was quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. It felt like an easy place to relax after a busy day. Being near Ronneby Brunnspark was handy for a morning walk or a breath of fresh air between meetings. A comfortable stay with good service, suitable for work or leisure.
