The room itself was nice, with a TV and a big bathroom and roomy shower. The fridge was large and had a freezer compartment, at least. But the view was a car repair shop and old tires, fantastic. The entrance was hard to find, and the directions felt like a treasure hunt. At the back of an industrial building, there's a hidden staircase to climb and a door that looks like it might lead into a factory. A sign at the top, about 10 meters up, points the wrong way toward the apartments. We booked three beds for three people, but got only two knives, cups, egg cups, chairs, and towels. There were just three plates, forks, and spoons, exactly enough and no more. The door lock was unreliable too. You could press the 'Lock' button after closing the door and think it was secure, but it could still be pushed open from outside. The latch sticks, and sometimes you have to pull it out by hand to make sure the door is properly locked. I can't recommend VL Apartments. Glad we didn't stay longer.

The beds are comfortable, and the rooms have been recently renovated. It's a standard hotel in a rough former industrial building, with a car company opposite. There's a TV and internet, but no TV channels.
