It's right by the water, with its own swimming spot, and the staff are friendly. The rooms were clean. It's not the newest place, but I liked the atmosphere a lot. Great place to stay, highly recommend it!

Villa Billerud feels like a trip to another time as much as a holiday somewhere new. The photos on their site are all real, nothing is faked. It feels like it stepped out of a 1920s novel. There's so much stuff and so many different styles and periods, but it works because it's been done with love.

There's lots of character here, and the rooms are comfortable. Breakfast is a good buffet. You can also use the guest kitchen to make your own lunch or dinner. The grounds are large, with a tennis court and a riverside jetty where we saw a beaver!

A real warm welcome was waiting when we arrived, and the breakfast is very good. We stop here when we're calling it a day before travelling farther north. It's a wonderful place to stay, with lovely surroundings and a nice riverside location. We'll stay again in July.

A great place for an overnight stop. The house and rooms were cosy and clean, the surroundings beautiful, and breakfast was great.
