The accommodation was nicely furnished, and the location couldn’t have been better. It’s pretty worn, but that doesn’t bother us.

The village is peaceful, with parking nearby, though some cabins require using the designated parking area rather than parking right by the door. The interiors vary, but ours was simple and functional, a little worn without feeling run down. A heated ski shed was handy because we could leave our boots there instead of bringing them into the hall. The location works especially well for families: the slopes and playground are close, and whichever cabin you’re in, the nearest slope is at most 30-40 meters away. The runs on either side are gentle enough for children and inexperienced adults. You’re also between Experiumtorget and Gutavstorget, so it’s easy to head either way. Our cabin’s beds were narrow and squeezed between the wall at the head and a wardrobe at the foot. Anyone 190+ may find them a tight fit.

The cabins are classic and at a good standard. You’re right in the center of the lift system, with ski in, ski out access in either direction. Pick a side and head out.

A good place for families, with everything you might need close by. It sits a little higher up, but the snowplow came through often, so getting around was fine.
