The spa was wonderfully relaxing, and we liked having the big white robes to wear there. Breakfast was a great buffet with lots of choices, served until 11 a.m. The rooms were hot, but fans were provided.

Chef Hassem was incredibly kind and even made a sugar-free cake for our son’s first birthday. The restaurant food is really good, with a great blend of traditional and modern Swedish cooking. We’ll definitely go back.

Our apartment section had a two-room place with a cabin, kitchen, lounge, and private terrace. It was a great way to get a break from a busy life. The restaurant’s menu is simple but outstanding, and the service was efficient while still relaxed and pleasant. We’ll be back!

The way the evening was handled outside the dining room left me uncomfortable. I stepped out briefly for a cigarette and, despite wearing the event wristband, was told I might not be allowed back in. When I politely asked to speak to a manager, the security staff member ignored me. It was confusing, disrupted the evening, and felt unprofessional. That experience fits with my broader impression that the venue is trying to combine fine dining with a nightlife or club atmosphere, and the two don’t work together very well. I manage a restaurant myself and appreciate the effort behind a good operation, so I was looking forward to this place. The pricing and visual presentation suggested fine dining, but the experience didn’t consistently meet that standard. The tasting menu looked refined, but it didn’t have much creativity, a clear identity, or depth of flavor. The dishes were competently prepared, but none stood out. Technically correct, yet uninspiring. Service was the biggest issue. Plates were put down carelessly, sometimes hanging over the table edge, without attention to placement or presentation. The main course wasn’t served directly to the guest as I’d expect in fine dining. No one introduced or explained the dishes, either. I was just told “meat” and “fish,” with nothing about ingredients, preparation, or the idea behind them. At this price, guests should get more attention to detail and service that supports the food. The concept has potential, but both the service and guest experience need work.
