Säröhus Hotel & Conference

The spa felt tired and really needs renovating. The food was okay, though nothing special, and the fish was dry and overcooked. It wasn't awful, but the place didn't feel very luxurious and I didn't think it was worth the money. There are better spas for a weekend at a similar price.

The sea views are stunning, and the garden is lovely for a quiet walk or a relaxed drink. The old-fashioned character of the building adds to the charm. We didn't stay at the hotel or use the spa, but the views alone made the visit worthwhile. We ate at the bistro and loved its laid-back, informal feel. The food was really good: sourdough pizza, comforting goulash soup, and the classic local räkmacka, all delicious and well prepared. There's also a set-menu restaurant on-site that looks promising, though you need to book ahead.

My stay at Säröhus Hotel was great. The location is amazing, the spa was good, and the staff were very hospitable. Shahbaz, the bartender, was the highlight of the evening. He suggested a drink and food pairing that was just right, and the cocktail he made was delicious. He was friendly and attentive, and his recommendations made the experience feel personal and welcoming. Thanks to Shahbaz, it was an unforgettable evening. I highly recommend Säröhus for its lovely atmosphere and great staff.

The location right by the sea is excellent, with great views and lots of large shared spaces where you can sit indoors or outside with a drink or friends. My experience was a bit mixed, though, so it's hard to rate. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, better than most hotel beds, but the room itself was quite small with little space around the bed. The decor in the room, bathroom, and public areas felt dated, and some construction seemed unfinished. It also got too hot in the room, which had no AC, and the restaurant was uncomfortably warm in the evening sun coming through the big windows. The food was good, just not excellent.
