Breakfast alone would bring me back. Everything tasted fresh, and there was loads to choose from. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the hotel had wonderful views, quiet nights, and very comfortable beds. The room was a little tacky and came with a friendly spider, though. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

The staff were great and breakfast was A+, but the rooms need work. The wallpaper was damaged, the walls were very dirty, and the space felt cramped. Anyone with mobility issues should know the rooms are quite snug. A repaint would make this feel like a four-star stay.

8/10
The rooms were clean and fresh, though the decor felt a bit dated. Service was good, and breakfast was decent and traditional. I missed healthier choices such as wholemeal bread, and the vegan options were limited. Still, it was a reasonable choice in the low season.

4/10
The location was lovely, but the stay was disappointing and overpriced for the quality of the rooms and food. Our package included dinner, and the meal was just short of dreadful: mushy overcooked vegetables, dry fish, and far too much salt. I'd warn people considering Hotel Svea to stay away.

Right in the middle of town, so the location was perfect. The hotel and breakfast were good, but the rooms were quite small and wouldn't suit families with babies or young children. There was no air conditioning, so we had to sleep with the window open.
