We booked by email at very short notice, which was easy. The facilities were great even with lots of people around, and the walk down to the ocean ended with a spectacular view. The campsite sits in beautiful surroundings, but we prefer somewhere without vehicles all around us, so we stayed just one night. It was pleasant, though the price felt high, especially with the extra shower charge, and nothing really made that cost stand out.

We planned on one night, then liked the place enough to add another. The bathrooms were clean and modern, reception staff were really friendly, and there were some nice spots for a caravan or tent. It’s a cozy, great campsite, surrounded by some of Sweden’s most beautiful scenery, with special views on hikes. We’d love to come back next year. Definitely recommend it!

The fish and chips were good, and the art museum in the harbor was worth a visit. We stayed at a Vanderhem/Camping site about 1 kilometer from the center because all the hotels were full. It was clean, with kitchens, rooms, and shared spaces as expected, and both the price and location were excellent. A ten-minute walk over the rocks behind the site brought us to lovely, secluded bathing spots, with a well-equipped public beach nearby. The town itself has that typical Swedish West Coast sailing-town feel.

You can walk over the rocks to the sea, and the campsite is in a great spot. The facilities were clean and had everything we needed. It is a little expensive compared with other campgrounds in Sweden, and the place can feel touristy if you’re after camping in nature. Still, definitely worth a stay.

About 17€ for a tent, and this was the best and cheapest campsite we had in Sweden. The bathrooms and kitchen were excellent, the reception too, and there’s a bus stop right outside. Recycling was the one downside. We ended up collecting paper and plastic to take to recycling places ourselves.
