The basement recreation room was a fun touch. We played pool and threw a few darts before bed, and the generous breakfast buffet was appreciated too. Hotel Nordevik has a quirky Art Deco interior, with fun retro details and stylish, thoughtfully fitted rooms. It’s in a residential neighborhood, just a short stroll from the nearby harbor. I stay in about 25 hotels a year, and Hotel Nordevik is an easy choice for a relaxing two-night romantic stay, with the comforts and amenities you need while exploring the picturesque seaside village of Skärhamn. Cozy and then some. Highly recommendable!

I spent a few weeks at this hotel in January and February with colleagues. The beds and showers were okay, but the central heating wasn’t warm enough in winter, and some rooms were too small for two people and their luggage. When every room was occupied, the internet connection was terrible, though staff said it would be improved. In winter, the restaurant only opens until 03:00 pm. There’s a self-service option and separate dining room for an early breakfast, which was fine except the bread seemed old to me.

I stopped by the restaurant for a quick lunch. The food was good, with lots of fish dishes to choose from, and the prices felt quite reasonable for the taste.
