Malin and her staff made everything easy and stress-free, welcoming both Swedes and English guests. The rooms were lovely, and everyone who stayed enjoyed them. We had our wedding at Vanbo, with an English groom and a Swedish bride who grew up nearby in Ludvika. The food was delicious. Some guests said it was the best they'd ever had at a wedding. The lakeside setting was beautiful, and we were lucky to have good midsommar weather. We'll definitely stay again, and come for lunch or dinner next time we're in Ludvika.

A lovely spot for getting away from the city, with beautiful nature all around. It's right by the lake, so you can go swimming. The food was amazing, with generous portions for such a good price :) Perfect place to escape the city! 🥰🌿

The setting is very relaxing, indoors and out. There’s a small, basic playground on the grounds. At Saturday lunch, the buffet had meat, fish, and vegetarian choices, plus a good range of salads. It also included soup, bread, coffee, and cake, and even had a cheese platter, which you don't often see at a buffet.

A beautiful spot right by the water, with a lovely traditional feel. The food is very good, especially at Midsummer. If you're lucky, you might even meet the ghost of Wanbo 👻

It's a really cozy, quiet place, with nice breakfasts and relaxing evenings. They also arranged a room for those of us checking in late at night. Recommend.
