We’d be happy to come back. The site was quiet and well organized without rules posted everywhere, and it was spotless both inside and around the campground. The owners were really helpful, and the kiosk had Asian takeaway as well as burgers and hot dogs, delivered to your pitch when ready. A few downsides: some buildings and facilities need exterior repairs, the playground is limited, and there were lots of duck droppings by the water.

For a one-night tent stop, this worked perfectly. The toilets and showers were clean, even if the campsite and facilities looked dated. The shower curtains seemed to serve little purpose, and the shop was messy. The owner was a kind woman who spoke enough English to sort things out and negotiate. We had an amazing stay.

The camp and cottages could use maintenance. More upsetting, the owners said they would send the headphones our son had left in the cottage, then said they couldn’t for three weeks because of "Swedish Rock Festival." I didn’t expect them to make no effort to help someone unless there was money in it.

We camped for one night on the small island. Check-in was available until 21.00, and we could still pick up a few things at the shop. It was a decent spot to pitch the tent.

The stuga was lovely and clean, and I really liked it. The campsite felt sweet and welcoming too, with a comfortable bathroom and clean toilet. A perfect holiday spot!
