The airport bus stop is just a minute down the street, which worked well for my long layover, and there's a riverside path for walking or running about five minutes away. Shops, cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets are nearby too. Rooms are tiny, but laid out cleverly with lots of hooks and little nooks, and they were quiet, modern, with perfect beds and excellent shower pressure. The warm service stood out: friendly, efficient staff made check-in easy. The location is fantastic, and the value is incredible for Hyatt members using points. This is my go-to for Stockholm visits and long layovers. The hotel may recently have changed its name to “Story Hotel Stockholm North”.

It's a hidden gem, with kind and helpful reception staff who made the stay more enjoyable. Getting to the city center by tube is easy, and a tram also runs to nearby areas.

Sundbyberg is surprisingly close to central Stockholm. This is our second favorite hotel in the city, after the Story Stureplan!

The lobby feels warm and welcoming, and check-in was friendly. There's a fun music theme and an industrial studio look through the rooms and hallways. The room was spacious by European standards, very clean, and came with plenty of towels and lovely toiletries, plus complimentary sparkling water and a fridge. The area has a late-opening supermarket, lots of restaurants, and a well-connected tram and metro stop just steps away, in a cool repurposed industrial area. It's a really cute hotel and unfairly rated low here. Best of all, it's Hyatt category one for points. Can't beat it!

Story Hotel Signalfabriken is a stylish, clean place to stay, and the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. Getting to Stockholm city center is easy by tube. A hidden gem for a comfortable visit with good connections.
