First Camp Sundsvall – Fläsian

Our campervan pitch looked out over the sea, which was lovely, and there were nice places to swim. Our dog enjoyed the dog beach, too. The showers were clean, though the service block is up quite a slope. The road and railway are very close, so it can get noisy. Thanks for the beautiful location.

The basic needs were covered, but the parking spaces at 123 and 124 and farther along need clearer lines on the ground. We parked far to one side to leave ourselves more room, then the neighbors arrived and took up almost our space as well as a much larger area on their sunny side. That was extremely frustrating.

The beach and bathing area were great, and dogs could swim there too. The sanitary facilities were clean and there were enough of them. Staff were friendly, quick and flexible. A clear recommendation.

The room was one of the smallest I've ever stayed in at first camp, and it was a bit dirty. The beds were painfully hard, and bunk beds aren't great when there are two adults. The toilet was so cramped that you had to sit sideways to shut the door. We had dogs with us, but our room was right beside the public bathroom. There was so much noise that the dogs barked constantly. I wouldn't recommend this place.
