We got there at midnight and asked if we could check out late, but they couldn't do that. Maybe that's understandable, though the staff/owner could have smiled when explaining it. There was also a mix-up about the extra 15 minutes... The place is picturesque, the rooms are simple but clean and nice, and the mattresses are good.

The setting was beautiful, but we arrived at 6pm to find the place locked and closed. It was dark and minus 20 degrees C, and after driving all day from Stockholm we really wanted to get inside and warm up. We drove around and knocked on doors for about 45 mins, but nobody seemed to be there. We ended up having to find somewhere else. The owner called at 10pm to ask where we were. We told him there'd been no instructions in the booking about contacting him, and the phone number we found online didn't work. We asked for a refund, but he refused, saying the number was on the door, and didn't apologise. So disappointing.............

The staff were nice, and breakfast was nice too. The beds were okay, and the place was clean, with cleaning included. The shower and WC are shared. Good value for the money.
