We had a wonderful Christmas celebration here last year, and we'd love to return. The house is tucked away in the woods, so it felt completely peaceful, even with the kids. It has two bedrooms, a large living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom, all beautifully furnished in wood with a warm, welcoming feel. There's a sauna right beside the house that you can rent. Helen, the hostess, is so friendly and accommodating, and helps with everything. Such a magical, relaxing place.

Our "feel-good weekend" in the forest left us really happy. After hiking, we unwound in the lovely wood-fired sauna, then had a delicious three-course game menu with local ingredients: mushrooms, elk, and lingonberries. Our friendly hostess served it. We slept without any disturbance. Highly recommended!
