First Camp Edsvik Grebbestad

The house was beautiful, and check-in and check-out were super easy. I only got there at 20:00 and left at 06:30, so sadly I didn't have much time to see the sights around here. Next time I'm in the area, I'll make sure to stay a couple of days.

The pizza we ordered at the Bistro came from the freezer, and no freshly cooked meals were offered. While we ate outside on the terrace, the noise of a freece container kept us company. At reception the next morning, I asked why campers were parked so close together. They said the system assigns places based on an 8 m camper length. A bit more flexibility would suit a First Camp well. We paid 42 Euros for one night for two people, parked tightly between campers on both sides, with a noisy road behind us. There was plenty of free space around the campsite, so the arrangement was frustrating. For 42 Euros a night, we expected better service. Never again!

There was plenty of space for tents, with some shade too, but the tent spot was expensive and a long way from the service house. One thing to be aware of: coming from the north, the road turns back a bit to reach the site. Heavy traffic and no shoulder can make it life-threatening for cyclists. I haven't reflected that in the score, since it's not the campsite's fault.

We booked a luxury cabin for 6, but ended up looking out at the garbage area. At 1600 sek, the value for money just wasn't there. Utterly expensive. Go somewhere else.
