The coast is close by, with little Swedish huts where people fish or just unwind, and the countryside around the place is quiet with lovely walking and hiking spots. It made for a peaceful holiday. The rooms are basic but comfortable, and there’s a big shared kitchen for cooking. Parking is available, though the closest supermarket is about 5 km away. You’ll need to bring or rent your sheets, blankets, and towels. Renting them there can be a bit pricey. Guests are also asked to clean their room before checkout, which may feel unusual. Still, I had a pleasant, relaxing stay.

The website photos were a little more flattering than the place itself, though not wildly different from reality. I had good service from the staff, slept surprisingly well in a comfortable bed, and enjoyed breakfast, especially the eggs. I’d keep it in mind if I’m traveling nearby again.

There’s space to make your own meals, and the staff were friendly. The hotel is cozy and close to the sea, with great facilities. It was a little noisy, though.

One of the loveliest places to stay in Bohuslan. Ask about a Swedish massage and sauna!
