The cute little inn serves locally brewed beer, and Lövstabruk is a gorgeous place.

There's plenty to enjoy here for a day or two, and the surroundings are beautiful and full of history. The inn's staff are nice and the food is good. They serve beer made at a brewery just a couple of hundred metres away. If you visit, I'd recommend stopping by the brewery and then having the beer at the inn.

The staff were nice, and serving your own beer is a plus. The area itself is lovely. I had lunch during Löfstadagarna, though, and found it disappointing: plastic cutlery, paper plates, and ready-made flatbread sandwiches that weren't really worth the price. I think it might be better if you come for a party or proper à la carte food.

The dining room decor was dull, and the food was a letdown for an inn in such lovely surroundings. Pretty much everything was whole or semi-finished. The rice had been frozen and reheated, the pasta was cold, and the chicken with it was like a dry piece of skin. There was meant to be a salad of the day, but it was conspicuously missing, with only a little on the plate when it arrived. The staff were nice, though, and that's what earns the two stars.
