The room was clean, and there’s a pool beside the hotel, but the practical details made the stay frustrating. No one was at reception when I needed help. I asked by text for an electric kettle, but they didn’t have one. The next day, nobody cleaned the room or emptied the rubbish, so I had to ask them to come and do it. Breakfast was basic and poor, and served in another building about 100 metres away. Walking there in cold, windy winter weather was really unpleasant. There were no extra towels in the hotel for the pool, and none available at the pool either. I used my own on the first day. When I asked by text the next day, they said there was a room where I could go and get one. I wish they’d told me that the first day. For a one-night stay, I’d say it’s just OK. I wouldn’t recommend staying longer.

It’s clean and very basic, with a TV and Wi-Fi but no kettle. Good luck finding the place after dark.

A really good hotel, and there’s a swimming pool too.

I was there on a Friday night during a vintage car market, and there was a disco. As a bus driver, I ended up in the room above it. Without that, my rating could have been better.

The beds were good, the view was nice, and the self-service coffee and cocoa machine was a nice touch. Unfortunately, loud party music went on at the hotel until late and spoiled the stay.
