I pulled in on my motorcycle for an ice cream. The staff were friendly, and the location was wonderful. Definitely worth a visit.

The cafe is super cozy, with the Göta Canal just 2m away on one side and fields on the other. It's perfect on a summer day after a walk along the canal. I didn't stay at the campsite, so I can't rate that. The ice cream comes from a local factory, which is a nice chance to try something new on vacation. The food is good too, with lovely sandwiches and salads. I think I spotted some home cooking as well, which was fun to see.

The facilities are all clean, including the toilets and showers. There's a little kitchenette, two sinks for washing up, one washing machine and one dryer. Fresh water and toilet facilities are available, though there's no grey water disposal. Now and then you can hear the train, the road, and of course the bridge for ships, but we weren't bothered by it. It's a beautiful spot with a great view. A pitch right on the canal bank can be booked online by credit card for around €22 without electricity. The website is only in Swedish, but easy enough to understand.
