Breakfast was excellent, with eggs cooked fresh and plenty of local and traditional Swedish choices. We also had dinner, which tasted great and was good value. This is a lovely family B&B run by Karin and Hans, a really nice couple. We stayed in a clean, comfortable room for four, and the shared bathrooms and showers were spotless. The place and the hosts made us feel welcome and warm. Thank you for the traditional Swedish welcome and stay, 10/10.

The building has real history to it. It used to be a church communion building, and the former prayer hall is now a hallway connecting the upstairs rooms. There’s even an old piano there that still works. The rooms are spacious and bright, comfortable, and decorated in a homely local style. We visited in summer, but the B&B is open year-round and we’re planning to return in winter to ski. It had only recently opened when we stayed, and the owners are lovely people with plenty of experience in hotels and tourism. Breakfast was plentiful and marvelous, and dinner uses local ingredients. I especially loved the cloudberry ice cream dessert! 😀 We paid around €75 a night, which felt fair for what we got. A must when visiting the Dalarna region of Sweden. (Sorry about the unmade beds in the photos, I forgot to take them before going to sleep 😴 😀)
