The morning view across the river made breakfast feel almost magical. Ellen was every bit as lovely, with such a warm manner and infectious laugh. We had booked just one night at The Albert, then planned to move to another nearby hotel for two nights. We ended up cancelling that reservation because we wanted to stay here for an extra night. Thank you to Ellen and the team for a memory we'll carry with us. We'll be back.

The view over the town, water and parks makes breakfast here a treat, and the smörgåsbord is the real deal. They’re also known for excellent food and a great wine selection. I come to town to see friends and family and usually prefer a hotel, so this is the one I like to choose. The Albert’s stands on a hill, just a short walk from downtown, in a beautiful old building with an amazing history. The staff are so welcoming, kind and helpful. It feels like my Swedish home away from home.

We really enjoyed the inventive, tasty six-course gourmet menu, and the restaurant and our room both looked out over the river and town. The breakfast buffet was very good too. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Amazing hotel, and we’ll be back.

I only stayed the night this time, but the service is always excellent. The food is really good, and breakfast is nice, with a lovely view of Trollhättan.

The rooms were clean and roomy, and the restaurant was amazing. A wonderful place to stay, with an incredible location and a great view of the city.
