We were only there for one night, but I’d happily come back. The owners were super nice and helpful, and the hotel is a quiet little oasis right in the centre of beautiful Trosa. The rooms were stylish and immaculately clean. We were glad to have air conditioning on such a hot day, otherwise I think we might have melted. There’s no restaurant or bar, but breakfast is served next door. At first I worried because there was no parking, but we could pull up to unload and then were shown a free place to park nearby, so it all worked out.

We rented the hotel for a wedding weekend and it felt really cozy to have the whole place to ourselves as a group. My husband and I stayed in the suite, while my parents and a family friend with her baby had the downstairs rooms. The interior mixes a luxurious feel with a rustic, homely touch, and the old details of the house stand out after the careful renovation. When my husband reacted to the down, the service was great: they changed the duvets and pillows for us. And many thanks for the little extra they arranged for our wedding day!

We booked the whole hotel for two nights to celebrate a birthday, and the owners gave us a very warm welcome. There was even a bottle of chilled cider waiting in the room, a nice extra. The rooms are cozy and there’s a small, leafy garden. It was worth every penny, and we’ll definitely be back.

Right in the middle of Trosa, this place is small, cute and very central. Our room was lovely, with what looked like a recently renovated bathroom and beautiful thick ceiling beams.
