Annas Bed & Kitchen

We brought our bikes on the train from Gothemburg, and getting here by bike was easy. Varberg is very bike-friendly. This was our second stay, and we chose it for our wedding day because we love the atmosphere. Pia, our main contact, was friendly and very helpful. The place sits among farmland outside Varberg, with trees around it and a secluded feel. There's a large lawn with places to sit and eat your own food or have a glass of wine in the evening, plus a couple of bunnies, a trampoline and lots of room for kids. Nearby there are a cafe, restaurant and a few workout activities. One small thing, the water doesn't taste very good, so bringing bottled water might be a good idea.

The room was bright and pretty, and the beds were comfortable. It's a cozy, affordable stay in a really beautiful setting, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I accidentally booked for two guests, but the host changed my reservation to a cheaper option. Thanks for that! The water comes from a local well and looks a little odd, though it's safe to drink.

A clean, well-managed place with lovely gardens. We found it just right for a stop between Oslo and Malmö / Copenhagen.

There’s plenty of room to relax in the huge, park-like garden, with picnic tables, swings and a trampoline. The place has lots of charm and feels restful. The owner-manager is organised, helpful and charming when any issues come up. We loved staying here.
