We had dinner at the hotel. The menu was limited, but the food was good, though my Caesar salad was much too greasy and practically dripping with fat. The place is fairly basic and sits on Stockholm's outskirts. Staff were pleasant, if a bit inattentive.

The only average part was breakfast. The rest of this stay was awful: the hotel felt like a prison, with concrete corridors lined with room after room. At reception, a young guy was alone at what looked like a temporary desk, working on his laptop. Check-in was confusing, he struggled without help and became upset, while customers got frustrated after being charged several times. Our room had been checked out a day early, so we had to move. Staff seemed stretched thin. The person making breakfast also appeared to be doing kitchen work and cleaning rooms. Best Western, I hope this was a one-off and that you give your staff more support. Some investment would also make the hotel's appearance less harsh.

Breakfast really brought the stay down. The buffet was often empty, with little replenishment, and even when we asked an hour or two before the stated end of service, we were sometimes told nothing was left. It came across as poorly managed and affected our impression of the hotel. The rooms were average, and ours had no fridge, which was inconvenient since we wanted to keep a birthday cake cold. Reception staff were kind, and although the hotel is outside Stockholm, the bus stop a minute away made getting into the city convenient.

The higher-floor view was lovely, and the room was clean and comfortable. Staff weren't especially friendly, though service itself was good. Breakfast was decent but there wasn't much variety. It takes about 20 minutes by car to reach the city center, which could be inconvenient if you're going into town a lot. For the price, I had a good stay. Bring toothpaste, slippers, and a mini fridge if you need one, since those weren't provided.

The food at Aldo was great, and the rooms were clean with friendly staff. It's near the airport. I'll definitely come back when I'm in Sweden.
