The location is great for canoeing, and check-in was friendly and easy. We arrived early and our cabin wasn’t ready yet, but we could get in for an extra SEK 275. We were a young family and had booked a small cabin with two bunk beds online for over SEK 2000 a night. The cabin was in disappointing shape: broken chairs, a dirty scratched frying pan, a damaged mirror cabinet, and furniture that felt old. The bunks were extremely narrow, and getting a child up to the top one was difficult and potentially dangerous. The only guard was a flimsy wooden rail, about 5 cm high. Even the bedroom view gave the impression that the place lacked care and attention, despite it being peak season. We were just as unhappy with the restaurant. The chef seemed unmotivated, the young staff were disorganized, and hygiene was poor. Nachos advertised as taking 10 minutes to prepare took over 40 minutes as takeaway. We didn’t find worse value for money anywhere else on our Sweden trip. This campsite has a lot of potential that isn’t being used.

The sea is extremely close and the staff are friendly, but the price is far too high for what you get. For 300 kr, you get a tent spot and just 1 minute and 30 seconds of shower water. If you still have shampoo in your hair when the time runs out, you have to scan your badge again, and each scan costs another 1 minute and 30 seconds. I paid 90 kr for one shower, and it wasn’t clean. The drainage was so poor that water covered the whole room. I can get a cheaper, better shower in Zurich, one of the world’s most expensive cities. It was also very noisy, with people playing music loudly and watching TV past 24:00, so I had trouble sleeping. Wi-Fi only reaches the entrance, which meant going to reception whenever I needed a connection. The staff did nothing about the noise or the Wi-Fi. It’s okay for one night. fyrudden is a nearby village with good restaurants, and I’d recommend visiting.

A nice campground in an amazing location. There’s beautiful nature, pleasant walks around the campsite, and a lovely beach. The wash house is clean and new, and you can check yourself in.

A nice spot, though pike fishing here is difficult. If you rent a boat, take photos of the engine and propeller.
