The countryside around the farm is incredible, with several beautiful routes for walking or running. We spent one night in a lovely, peaceful cottage from the sixteenth century, preserved with a lot of taste. Given its age, the comfort and standard were high: there was a newly renovated shower bathroom, a heat exchanger in the living room, and underfloor heating in the bedroom. For more privacy, I'd suggest renting the whole house, since the separately booked upper floor opens onto the main floor and shares its bathroom. This is a real gem in Halland, and we'll be back.

We’re so grateful to Mr. Michael, the apartment owner, and his wife Monica for their warm, sincere hospitality. We came to them late in the evening because of an unexpected situation, and they immediately helped us get settled. The apartment was cozy, with an authentic Swedish style and modern conveniences.

We stayed at the B&B over Christmas. The house was tidy, quaint, and from the 17th century, with an open fireplace, comfortable beds, and a quiet feel. We got a friendly welcome and a good, simple self-service eco-breakfast. The rose garden wasn't in season, of course, but from the photos it looks lovely, especially in late June. The B&B is also surprisingly close to Varberg centre, with regular buses. Highly recommended.

The room was okay if you could overlook the cobwebs and noise. Breakfast was below standard: we had to take it out of the fridge ourselves and load it into the dishwasher afterward. It wasn't worth the money, and I can't recommend the place. We didn't feel good about the stay when we left.
