A small, relaxing spa with everything you need, and it’s a lovely nature escape from Stockholm. I’ve been four times, and each visit had a good, quiet atmosphere without much noise. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a little getaway.

The infinity pool was amazing, and the saunas were so good they’ll stick with me. It could get crowded at times, but the busy spells came in waves. I left incredibly relaxed after two of the best days of my life. The massage was great too, and everything was so clean. As an American, I thought it was incredible value: it felt like a luxury five-star hotel, but without being pretentious. The food was great, the surroundings were stunning, and the staff were so sweet. It was also very family friendly. I can’t think of anywhere like it in the States for under $1200 a night. Swedish hospitality really blew me away. Thank you so much, Djuronaset!

We’d definitely go back, even though lunch and dinner didn’t live up to the rest of the hotel. We waited 30 minutes for our scallop starters, and they arrived cold. The main courses were average at best, and we skipped dessert because we didn’t have high hopes. Maybe we were unlucky. Breakfast was much better, with a good range and especially good produce in the hot section. The hotel itself was a real treat. There are beautiful views and stunning nature everywhere, and our room had a very comfortable bed. The spa was just right, with great indoor facilities and saunas, plus an outdoor infinity pool that really deserves the hype.

Our son, who’s four and very energetic, loved it, and it was a good place to visit with kids when they’re allowed. The bedrooms aren’t large, but there was enough room for the three of us. Stockholm is a bit far, though the surroundings make the trip worthwhile. The spa was amazing, very clean and quiet, with a large pool, a lovely warm outdoor infinity pool, and other standard facilities. The outside was wonderful too. The buffet had good food and plenty of choices, including desserts. Breakfast offered lots of options, from very good pancakes to sausages and eggs. The staff weren’t quite as nice as I’d expected, and the service could use a little improvement, perhaps with a few more smiles.
