The couple looking after the house really care about how you're doing and are happy to suggest places to visit and ways to get there. They'll also rent you their bikes if you ask. Breakfast is available if you request it in advance, and there's plenty to get the day started. The rooms are very clean, with a well-equipped kitchen and all the towels and linen you need, even for a week-long stay. A lovely place to stay.

We had a really good stay, even though Överum and Gamleby don't have much to offer and the nearest supermarket is an 8-10 km drive away. For shops, good restaurants and larger supermarkets, Västervik is the closest town. We came to climb in the area for a few days and found everything we needed in the apartment, including a small kitchen and bathroom. It was clean and cozy, and the hosts were so sweet and welcoming that it felt a bit like visiting family. 🙌

The breakfast was generous and good, with fresh-baked bread each day and different eggs from one day to the next. Our apartment was clean and tidy, with a private patio, and we could also use the garden and its seating areas. The kitchen was especially well equipped, with everything from a fly swatter to a microwave. The apartment was large, with a spacious bathroom, and was accessible for disabled guests. The location was quiet and good, and the hosts were very nice and helpful.

The owners were really helpful and friendly, sharing tips for a lovely vacation. They even took us by canoe to a nearby lake. Highly recommended!
