8/10
The green grounds next door are spacious and lush, with mowed lawns and a little apple orchard. The welcome was good, and the place was clean and tidy in the kitchen, bedrooms, and shared areas. It's simple, standard accommodation in a pleasant older setting. The kitchen felt fresh, and breakfast had everything you needed. Nothing to complain about.

It's noisy as hell, and lots of things don't work.

The shower floor covering was loose, and water leaked from the drain pipe onto the floor. There were missing joints in the corners of the tiled wall, too. The rooms were dirty, with dead flies and dust piled in the corners. The trash bins had a beer bottle, caps, and old snuff in them.

I never stayed there. I tried to book, but they didn't reply to my emails.

Really recommend it. The owners were nice, the surroundings were lovely, and breakfast was very good.
