There was plenty of room, and the big spaces were clean, with warm bathrooms and a kitchen equipped with everything we needed. It was easy to stay here and look after ourselves. Anna was easy to reach and had useful tips about the region. They were also taking extra precautions around COVID, keeping occupancy down so people had lots of space between them.

The kitchen knives were blunt enough that I couldn't cut my cucumber, which is why I'm giving it 4/5. Still, I really loved staying here with 20 amazing people for four nights, with the whole house to ourselves. It was a great place to recharge after long days in the forest. You can rent the sauna by the lake, but don't jump in from the end of the pier, the water's too shallow and rocky there.

Friendly staff, clean and roomy rooms, and really good value. The shared kitchen and bathrooms were great too.
