Hjälmargården

The camping area was very messy. The ground was so uneven in some places that parking was impossible, and people spread out wherever they could, taking up two or three spots. The spaces weren’t numbered or marked. The toilets were dirty, too.

We spent four days here and really enjoyed ourselves. There’s good food, nice rooms, lovely views, and you can take part in lots of activities. We could cook food we brought ourselves. Alcohol may be forbidden here.

We loved our two days here and will come back. It’s a quiet, peaceful campsite in a fantastic location, with good-sized pitches and a lovely beach that’s perfect for kids. The toilets and showers were clean, though it’s a little inconvenient that they’re in a separate building. The washing-up area could perhaps use an upgrade, but that didn’t take away from our stay.

The campsite is very noisy, with lots of badplats guests who were still loud in the evening. At six in the morning we were woken by the early workout organized by the campsite. The showers look like bathtubs, and the drain was clogged with hair. It didn’t seem like anyone was cleaning there. This was the second evening in a row...
