The rest of the campground looked pleasant, so it may be fine if you’re not camping in a tent. The tent area is right by a busy road, though. If you like hearing traffic and breathing in exhaust all day, you might enjoy it.

We arrived very late, and they’d left an envelope with everything we needed, which was good service. Showers cost extra, and you have to buy the shower access ahead of time. It’s a large campsite with quite a few long-term campers. The downside is its position between the railway and a highway, so there’s noise through the night.
The place itself was nice, but we barely slept. Our hut had a kitchen and bathroom, and it was only metres from the railway. Trains went by every half hour until after midnight, shaking the whole house. Booking dot com doesn’t make that location clear.
The toilets and showers were clean and perfectly fine. But the campsite sits between a railway line and a very busy road, with noise in the daytime and all night. Getting a peaceful night’s sleep was impossible.
Even though it’s between an active railway and a major road, the grounds were quiet when we stayed, and there were lots of pleasant birds around. The site is well maintained, and the kitchen, toilets, and showers were all in really good, clean condition. There don’t seem to be many short-stay visitors, mostly people who keep their caravans here through the summer. Our daughter thought the playground was fine. The little shop has the basics, though no gas bottles. If you have time, Ystad swimming pool was fun to visit.
