Ozzy, the front desk manager, was the standout for us. He was easy to reach, knew his stuff, and went out of his way to help. The rest of the service didn’t match what we paid for the rooms, though. Room service took ages and brought the wrong order, and our taxi arrived 20-30 minutes after the promised time. Even after several requests, housekeeping was delayed by hours. We stayed in February with our family of four. It’s a child-friendly resort, with a lovely pool and a wading pool for little kids. Most rooms have ocean views, and we enjoyed watching planes come in over the water. The rooms, lobby, and amenities seemed updated, and the food and drinks on site were good. The airport is about a five-minute drive away. There’s plenty of plane noise, though the flights usually run from 7am to 7pm. Apart from a few restaurants near Maho beach, most places to visit require a cab, and there aren’t sidewalks for strollers.

Our cabana day by the pool was a treat. Omar kept checking that we had what we needed, and brought over fresh grilled lobster with everything to go with it. Kameisha was just as kind, bringing water and afternoon drinks. Even the security guards knew me by name and were always pleasant. Everyone, from Oswald at the front desk to McKenley in the restaurant, seemed genuinely happy to help. They were always smiling, chatting with us, and asking how we were doing. The one exception was the morning service supervisor for Salt, whose attitude could have been better. We had one of our best vacations in a long time. The room was beautiful, the resort was fabulous, and the friendly staff made the visit feel special. It was our first stay here, but we’re hoping to come back many times. We highly recommend the Morgan Resort.

The way Okeefa handled my daughter’s 35th birthday was so thoughtful. She helped us plan our excursions, then arranged balloons and birthday banners in our suite as a surprise. From the smooth check-in onward, she made us feel welcome. Luke had already set us up well for the island, greeting us at the airport and sharing restaurant and attraction suggestions that really improved our stay. Our suite was spacious and lovely, and the beds were comfortable enough for good sleep every night. Whatever we needed, The Morgan made it happen. The whole staff made a lasting impression with their kindness and professionalism. Thank you to Okeefa, Luke, Kemesha, Miriame, Janell, Nicole, Allia, Gabriela, and Marteen. And Nikko kept the pool fun with bingo. We won’t forget them, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

Mirame made our time by the pool wonderful. Even when it was busy, she handled everything with such ease and grace, and always served us with a lovely spirit. Devon at the front desk was another bright spot, always ready to help and make us laugh. The resort felt very safe, and the room was clean, though it was missing a light bulb. I think Saint Martin is one of the best places to visit, and the Morgon resort is a nice place to stay if you like a quiet atmosphere. It’s far from activities, though. The restaurant service needs work. Some staff seemed to take it badly when I wasn’t happy with a meal, which made me uncomfortable. I ordered the Greek yogurt bowl, and it came out hot and almost curdled. The server was rude about it, and the chef didn’t help either. I nearly threw up after one bite, but they still charged me for the spoiled food. I’d come back, but the restaurant experience needs improvement.

The food at the salt restaurant and the rib shack was tasty, and I enjoyed the cocktails too. It’s an easy walk from the resort to nightlife, a few shops, and plenty of restaurants. I stayed five nights and had an amazing time. The resort is beautiful and well located, and everyone was friendly and welcoming. My housekeeper, Roselene Decorce, kept the room spotless each day and greeted us with a smile. She made us feel like family. Five stars from me, and I’ll definitely be back.
